My ex-boyfriend's family had a dog that liked to run around in the countryside. She touched an electrified fence one day, and from that moment on had a Pavlovian fear of cows. Fences were not an issue for her, just cows who were in possession of some kind of mysterious and powerful psychic attacking force.
